Role and Responsibilities
Summary
You will work as a P-8A pilot subject matter expert (SME). You will lead courseware development efforts to support U.S. Navy and foreign military sales training programs. You will play a key role training the next generation of maritime patrol and submarine hunting aircrews.
Location
Applications will work full-time or part-time in Jacksonville, FL.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Review, revise, maintain, and develop aircrew courseware, syllabus, and training materials for P-8A aircraft systems, to include pilot and aircrew tasks, duties, aircraft systems, operations, and tactics.

Produce design documents, scenarios, guided demonstrations, graphics requests, and student and instructor materials.

Review and ensure quality, technical correctness and instructional soundness of draft and final interactive multimedia lessons.

Attend and participate in working group meetings and conferences as required.

Participate in all phases of courseware development.

Understand and articulate project scope and vision to align with client and contract requirements.

Ensure work performance meets deadlines and milestones.

Interact with active-duty P-8A Instructor Pilots and Government SMEs.

Execute other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required and as directed by the Site Manager.
Qualifications and Education Requirements

Must have a bachelor's degree.

Be a former active-duty or reserve military aviator.

Must have knowledge of P-8A operational performance capabilities and understanding of platform’s security classification and mission sensitivity issues.

Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, detail oriented, flexible in work assignments, work with little to no supervision, and enthusiastic.

Possess strong time management, organizational and personnel management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Skills
-
Have a minimum of two years’ experience as a Maritime SME/Courseware Developer within the last seven years.

Possess qualifications as a P-8A Instructor Pilot preferred, with at least one tour at the Maritime Fleet Replacement Squadron.
